What we found

Course piracy behaves differently from book piracy: the asset is large, so the copies cluster on file lockers and shared drive folders rather than on web pages. The scan found 96 candidates and confirmed 61 — mostly complete lesson sets, a handful of partial rips missing the later modules.

The most damaging listings were not the file hosts but the two aggregator sites that maintain a searchable index of course names. They convert search traffic for the course title directly into a download, which is the traffic the creator would otherwise have converted into a sale.

What is being done

Confirmed drive folders are reported to the storage provider, which is the fastest lever for this medium — most are removed within a day. The aggregator listings are handled separately, since removing the index entry matters more than removing any individual mirror.
